Advanced Rope Basket Class
These lovely and useful rope baskets will warm up any home. They make great quick and easy gifts great for the holidays or housewarming. Wrap the rope with beautiful fabrics to match any décor. You will learn the square shaped basket, a fabric covered base, and how to add handles to your rope baskets.

| Skill Details: | Basic sewing skills are required to take this class, as well as having attended the base Rope Basket Class. Please cut your fabric into 1" bias strips prior to class. |
| Requirements: | Sewing Machine: Must sew a zig-zag, preferably a 7mm-9mm width. Please make sure machine is clean and in good working order prior to class. Please bring your manual, power cord, foot pedal, knee lift and extension table for your machine if available. Please bring your zig zag plate, and zig zag foot that you can see where you are sewing. You will also need to bring 2-3 bobbins, at least 2 size 16 Jeans/Denim needle, a quilting ruler (18" preferred), rotary cutter and small cutting surface if available, fabric scissors, thread snips, wonder clips, straight pins, and a tape measure. Please bring a 6" square of feature fabric and a 6" square of low loft batting. Purchase rope, or bring your own rope (3/16" to 1/4" thick. *Rope subject to instructor approval) and purchase 1 yard of fabric (batik is recommended) from Warm N Cozy. |
