Advanced Rope Basket Class
These lovely and useful rope baskets will warm up any home. They make great quick and easy gifts great for the holidays or housewarming. Wrap the rope with beautiful fabrics to match any décor. You will learn the square shaped basket, a fabric covered base, and how to add handles to your rope baskets.

| Skill Details: | Basic sewing skills are required to take this class, as well as having attended the base Rope Basket Class. Please cut your fabric into 1" bias strips prior to class. |
| Requirements: | * Sewing Machine * Thread * Scissors * Pins * Seam Ripper* Zig Zag plate and foot * Clear Scotch Tape * Rotary Cutter and small cutting mat * Quilt Extension Table if available * Glue Stick or quilt clips * Bring at least 3 Bobbins * Size 16 Jean/Denim needles * Fabric and batting scrap for base (6" square piece focus fabric, 7" square piece of cotton or cotton blend batting) Purchase rope, or bring your own rope (3/16" to 1/4" thick. *Rope subject to instructor approval) and 1 yard of batik fabric for this class. Any supplies purchased for class will be given a 20% discount. Please make your purchases prior to class start time. |
