The Bella Quilt Coat blends the art of quilting with the functionality of outerwear.
This relaxed fit quilted jacket is available in ten sizes. It is fully lined and features set-in sleeves, inseam pockets, a zippered front closure with guard, and a sporty collar that is stylish and functional.

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES:
- Basic quilting skills required; previous experience using a walking foot
- Knowledge of quilting rulers and marking quilting lines/motifs
- Standard machine sewing (no binding, fully lined with enclosed seams)
- Straight seams with working knowledge of basic seam allowances (including 1/2" construction, 1/4" and 1/8" topstitch)
- Inserting inseam pockets
- Inserting a basic separating zipper with zipper guard

| Requirements: | For Lecture day, please bring the pattern, a notebook and writing utensil, and your body measurements. We will discuss the preparation needed and your homework to complete prior to the 2 days of sewing. For sewing days, please bring your sewing machine (don't forget power cord, foot pedal, and machine manual), walking foot and zipper foot, your quilted fabric pieces, scissors, rotarty cutter (45mm and 28mm) and rotary cutting mat, a stiletto, pins, clips, coordinating thread, marking pen, seam ripper, 50" zipper, lightweight fusible woven interfacing, and pattern tracing paper. |
