Patchwork Kicks

Check out these kicks! Make a pair of shoes from start to finish and learn some new skills along the way. In this class, you will learn basic shoe construction, bias binding on a round edge, eyelet installation and leave with a sick new pair of kicks!

The price of the class includes the Patchwork Kicks all inclusive kit which will include most of the tools you will need to complete this project. In addition, you will need to purchase 3 coordinating Fat Quarters.

The class is divided into two sessions. The first is a lecture class, where you will learn the process of completing the top part, or the wrap, and tongue of the shoe. This part will last around 3 hours, you will not need a sewing machine or tools, just something to take notes with. The second session will be an all day sew day. You will bring your completed wrap and tongue as well as your sewing machine and any necessary notions to ensure a comfortable sewing experience.
