Borders 101
Learn the basics as well as some handy tips and tricks to adding borders. We will be adding 3 borders to a panel in class. Learn several types of borders and tips and tricks to make them fit and finish off a beautiful quilt. We will add three borders to a simple panel. First we will add a straight border. Second border will include corners. Last we will learn how to add a mitered border.

| Requirements: | Sewing Machine with foot pedal, electric cord and manual * Thread and bobbins * Scissors * Pins or clips * Seam Ripper *Rotary cutter with new blade Purchase fabric from us using your 20% class discount **We require that you come in to our shop before class to pick out your border fabric and panel. You will need one panel (24" x 44") First border 2" finished 1/3 yard Second border 4" finished with corners 2/3 yard Third border 10" finished mitered border 2 yards |
