HQ Pro-Stitcher Designer Series - Virtual Class
Pro-Stitcher Designer is a full featured, vector-based drawing software gives you the ability to quickly design, edit, customize, export and import any quilting motif you can imagine. This class will start with a basic overview of the easy to use features. New users will be creating their own digital designs for their next quilting project! Create designs using Carousel, Reflect, Echo Quilting and Rays! All these great designs start with simple designs created using the Artwork tools. Pro-Stitcher Designer has many great features that allow you to easily the Repeat on Path tool. Designs using true type fonts will add the final custom element to any quilting project and create custom designs. Start with the Magic Wand to take a backdrop image and convert it into a digital design. Next, create fun edge to edge designs and creative fills using the Repeat on Path tool. Designs using true type fonts will add the final custom element to any quilting project. We’ll learn how to use the Shape tool to edit and transform designs. Connecting your designs gives you limitless options to create all the designs of your dreams.

| Requirements: | This is a virtual class that will be held through Zoom, a video call program. Please download Zoom ahead of the class. You will need a computer, tablet, or mobile phone with a camera and microphone. You will need to have purchased and installed Pro-Stitcher Designer to a device prior to class. We will email you a link to join the call and any necessary handouts, so please make sure your email address is correct at checkout. |

| Instructor Bio: | At age five, Susan Manry's mother taught her to thread a needle and make a running stitch. Before long, she had taken over the sewing machine. Growing up, Susan's interests included textiles, drawing, design, and a broad range of arts and crafts. While raising three busy children and running an insurance business with her husband, her hobbies expanded to include digital drawing, web authoring, and computer technology. Yearning for a career using her creative talents, Susan was smitten after discovering the combination of her creative joys in one activity, long arm quilting! Fabric, drawing, design, and sewing all in one complete package was simply too enticing to resist, and soon she was happily partnered with her HQ Fusion and Pro-Stitcher. Mastering Pro-Stitcher and Pro-Stitcher Designer and seeking innovative ways to use both, Susan now enjoys quilting professionally with the HQ Infinity. She has also added the HQ Sweet Sixteen to her studio, expanding her skills and talents to include sit-down quilting. Susan believes she was meant to quilt and she relishes any opportunity to share her love and knowledge of the craft with others. She lives in Central Texas with her husband, Mike, and their two pups. |
