Happy Retirement Debbie!
First, we have to announce that Debbie, AKA Mom, is retiring! Our current plan is to gradually transition, with her official retirement beginning on September 1st, 2025. Debbie began sewing in the 7th grade and sewed all throughout high school. Once she was married and had children, she began sewing clothes for the kids. Then, "Grandma Great", Carol, had been the family quilter, and had passed on. Debbie determined it would be up to her to make quilts for the family, and she made her first quilt nearly 30 years ago. On her 3rd quilt, she decided to purchase a longarm quilting machine, and never looked back. Debbie is looking forward to having more time to sew her own projects, get back to swimming, spending lots of time with the grandkids, and visiting with her son and his family in the Washington, DC area. Don't worry, she plans to stop in often and keep up with her quilty friends!
Sadie has been sewing since 2018 and made her first quilt for her mother-in-law with Danielle's help. Sadie has been a part of the business, nearly since the beginning. She began working behind the scenes and learned to sew and quilt along the way. She's made numerous quilts and aspires to make bags and garments some day. With Sadie and Danielle's combined sewing and retail experience, Warm N Cozy Quilting will be in great hands! Keep your eyes peeled for more information on a retirement celebration in September!
